Butterflies, rosemary, and the Taj Mahal all speak of love that never dies. This card celebrates that kind of love.
In the border, rosemary is for remembrance, and for its sacred healing properties. Butterflies remind us that time on Earth may be short, but that it is filled with beauty. They also symbolize rebirth and regeneration.
The Taj Mahal is the 7th Wonder of the World. This monument to a king’s love was built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan to celebrate his devotion to Mumtaz Mahal, his wife of 19 years.
From his grief at her loss, Shahjahan created one of Earth’s greatest tributes to love. Lovers have been inspired by it for centuries.
Love is never lost. Time is not the measure.
I remember all the joy we shared, and send my love. Thoughts of you fill my heart. (Story on back.)
